ELMO: [HUMMING] Oh, hi Cheryl. Oh, hi Mrs. Turow. MRS. TUROW: Oh, hello, Elmo. ELMO: Oh, Mrs. Turow
works in a library. MRS. TUROW: Mm-hm. Are you looking for something? ELMO: Oh, yes. Elmo wants to know [SINGING] oh, where are the computers in
your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your
neighborhood. Oh! Where are the computers
in your neighborhood– computers we can use each day. MRS. TUROW: Oh. Well, I have a computer right
over in the library. Come on. Come with me. ELMO: OK, OK. MRS. TUROW: This will be fun. ELMO: Come along. MRS. TUROW: All righty, Elmo. Here we are. Oh, and look over here. Here it is. [SINGING] A computer very well might be
found inside a library. It has a screen,
a keyboard too. If you ask, I’ll turn
it on for you. ELMO: Oh. [SINGING] So a computer’s in the library
in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your
neighborhood. A computer’s in the library in
your neighborhood, a computer you can use each day. Wow. Boy. Elmo thinks it must be fun
to use a computer here. MRS. TUROW: Oh, yes, Elmo. It’s very ENTER– taining. [LAUGHTER] ELMO: Elmo doesn’t get it. Oh well! Elmo wants to know where you
can find more computers. FARLEY: Hey, Elmo. ELMO: Oh, hi, Farley. FARLEY: There’s a computer
in my school. Come on. I’ll show it to you. ELMO: OK. Come on. TEACHER: You see, class, the
program we’re running at the moment is a geometry program. FARLEY: Come on, Elmo. ELMO: OK. TEACHER: An art geometry
program. Now, if you press this
button here– FARLEY: Here it is. ELMO: Wow. Well, can you sing about
the computer, Farley. FARLEY: Yes, I con. Get it? Icon. [LAUGHTER] MUPPET: Oh, I get it. ELMO: Just sing! FARLEY: [SINGING] If you look for a computer, you
will find on here inside our school. Make a picture right on it. Click the mouse to play
a game or quit. ELMO: [SINGING] So a computer’s in a school in
your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your
neighborhood. MRS. TUROW: And the computer’s
in the library in your neighborhood. ALL: There are computers, you
will see, they are there for you and me. There are computers you
will see each day. ELMO: Well, thank
you everybody! TEACHER: You’re welcome. ELMO: Boy, computers
are everywhere. TEACHER: Back to this program. What we’re doing here

    In Germany (where i'm from) it was called: "Wer sind die Leute in der Nachbarschaft"

  3. @MarshalGrover Which "egg-head?" Mrs. Turow? by the way if you listen closely to Mrs. Turow she sounds like a certain cute girl monster,can you guess who I'm talking about?

  4. That's the first time I hear a song about computers in English. I know a song about computers in French, for a French kids show, that doesn't exist anymore.

  5. a computer is everywhere you look in the neighborhood!!! is a computer in a bedroom in your neighborhood?? yes!!  is a computer in every  pocket in your neighborhood?? yes!!
